Day-cares, families with young children, kindergartens and public libraries If you don’t have a cat, haven’t had a cat or don’t know any cats, you might not understand how special and funny this book is. To whom would you recommend this book? #1: Cat lovers. Kids will find the alien descriptions of common items hilarious as they realise just what the aliens are talking about.Īnything you did not like about the book? Nothing. As the aliens examine the strange creature’s actions they observe it “climb the group-soft-seat (couch) with its deathblades.” The aliens record their observations with little drawings of the actions they are observing. The typeface is very large and looks hand-written. The simple digital illustrations, outlined in black and drawn in Procreate, appear on a pink background with the only other colors being shades of blue and white. The parent is concerned about a creature prowling about the house that is “covered with thousands of soft fibers and its mouth stones ARE SHARP!”. The Lifegiver (parent) gives the young one “criss-cross floppers with sweet-sauce (waffles with maple syrup) on top for breakfast. What did you like about the book?
